Discover Baby Beach

Not A Lifeguarded Beach

The perfect beach for small children and families! Baby Beach is located west of Poipu Beach, just past the Shop at Kukui’ula. With shallow waters, minimal waves, and a protected cove, this beach is ideal for a casual beach day with your babies and young kids.

Baby Beach can be found on the sunny south side of the island, in a Poipu neighborhood. This public beach is accessible between vacation homes #5142 and #5152. Although the beach area is smaller than other island beaches, the beauty found in this quaint area is unmatched and less crowded.

Wade in the water while enjoying a nice, tropical day on Kaua’i. Hawaiian sea turtles can be spotted sunbathing on the golden sand of Baby Beach. This southside beach is also a great place to whale watch during the winter months. It’s also a favorite spot to watch the sunset and sunrise on the island. There is no lifeguard located at this beach. Please be aware of rocks and reefs when swimming here.

Enjoy this peaceful slice of paradise as you are staying on Kauai’s south shore. Take time to relax on this beach during a busy vacation to wind down and soak in its beauty with the whole ohana. Don’t forget to make this unforgettable stop on your next trip!

Directions to Baby Beach:

At the Popiu roundabout, follow the Spouting Horn sign. Take Lawai Road to Hoona Road. There is public beach access located between the homes at 5142 and 5152 Hoona Road.
